It was obvious to me that the relationship was coming to a dead end so I decided to take action and I made up with her parents. I had to apologize for some of my previous actions and while at the time it was an awkward thing to do it was a very good decision.
From that day onwards our relationship has just got better and she is now my wife. The easy option for me would have been to keep my head in the sand and not apologize but then the two of us would never have got better between us.
